<p>Packaging is described for hermetically sealed beverages which are opened for use and whose contents are mixed with an aqueous fluid in order to obtain a beverage. The packages have a positioning device intended to locate a means for introduction of the aqueous fluid, for example a hollow needle 30. The packages may have the form of a pouch (small bag) consisting of a material in the form of an air- and water-impermeable sheet 2, the positioning device consisting of a nozzle 8 joined hermetically to an edge seal (joint). The pouch contains a filter-sheet material 4 which contains the ground coffee 14. The material 4 of the filter is interrupted at a short distance from the lower edge of the pouch. In order to use the pouch, the bottom of it is cut in order to open it and the nozzle 8 is perforated with a needle 30. Water is introduced into the pouch so that it forms an infusion with the ground coffee and the beverage emerges via the orifice formed in the lower part of the pouch. Various versions of the package are described, some without filters, with various forms of positioning devices and with the pouch produced in flexible, rigid or semi-rigid form.</p> |
