PURPOSE:To attain the use of called number automatic retransmitting function in case of trunk line automatic outgoing when an extension telephone set of an automatic private branch exchange is used by providing a means storing information representing a pause time between digits of a called number transmitted from a telephone terminal device, and setting an inter-digit pause time in retransmitting automatically the said called number based on the said information. CONSTITUTION:Information representing either a trunk line outgoing interdigit pause time or normal inter-digit pause time is stored repsectively in each digit of an identification number for trunk line outgoing and a called number dialed by a subscriber just before is stored in a number storage circuit 7', a transmission control circuit 9' selects and starts a pause time generating circuit 10 or a pause time generating circuit 12 based on the said information and sets the trunk line outgoing inter-digit pause time or the normal inter-digit pause time. Thus, the called number is transmitted after the trunk line automatic outgoing is conducted and after a subscriber telephone station exchange completes surely call start connection, and the connection to the calld party is set surely. |
