Building panel based on calcium silicate plate - with plastic, e.g. glass fibre-reinforced polyester, foil hot-pressed on one or both sides

The panel comprises a plate consisting of calcium silicate at least one side of which is covered with plastic foil, e.g. glass fibre-reinforced polyester. The panel may be produced in a press wich applies pressure (e.g. 10-15 kgf/m2) whilst heating (steam ducts, to e.g. 135-150 deg.C for 90 sec.) followed by cooling (coolant ducts, e.g. for 4-10 min.) to a temp. (e.g. 95 deg.C) at which the mixt. in the panel condenses after which the pressure is released. The plate may contain cellulose fibres as filler. The foil weight may be 600-800 g/m2.
