<p>A composite multiple-layer film, suitable as a packaging film, having a base layer of a propylene polymer and at least one surface layer formed from a blend of a propylene-ethylene block copolymer and an ethylene-higher olefin random copolymer. The composite film is preferably coextruded and is suitable as a substrate for additional polymeric layer(s), such as heat-sealable coatings, which may be adhered to the substrate by a polymeric primer resin.</p> |
