PURPOSE:To prevent the irregularity of image density by making the arrangement of magnetic poles of a magnetic field generating means correspond to the locus of a light beam that makes on scan on a photosensitive body when said locus scans on the photosensitive body once. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic poles of the rotating magnet in a developing sleeve 32 are so arranged as to obtain the same napping of toner at the time tA when the light beam is at a point A and at the time tB when the beam is at a point B, preventing the toner from varying in density owing to the rotation of the rotating magnet 33 when the light beam scans from the point A to the point B on a photosensitive layer 31. Consequently, the toner of a developer 36 never changes in brush-shaped napping state while the light beam scans from the point A to the point B. The density of the toner is unchanged, so an image free of density irregularity is obtained. |
