PURPOSE:To enhance early stage developability and color reproducibility by imagewise exposing a photosensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a yellow coupler and a gelatin deriv. and processing it with a specified bleach fixing soln. immediately after color development. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide colorphotosensitive material is obtained by applying and drying on a support a silver halide emulsion contg. a gelatin deriv., such as phthaloyl gelatin, and a yellow coupler represented by the formula on the right in which R1 is optionally substd. alkyl, aryl, alkenyl. or heterocyclic; R2 is cyano or optionally substd. n-phenylcarbamyl; Y is -CO-, -SO2-, N, O, S, or C not combining with O through double bond; and Z is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to complete an N-contg. hetero ring. Said photosensitive material is imagewise exposed and color developed, and immediately after that, it is bleach fixed with a one-bath type bleach fixing soln. contg. the ferric salt of polyaminocarboxylic acid and thiosulfate. |
