The shield for collecting splashes from a vehicle wheel (4) consists of a board (10) suspended near the wheel and provided at its wheel adjoining surface with projections (12,14,16,18,32) protruding in the direction of the wheel. The projections form an acute angle with the board and spaces (26,38) formed open downwards and forwards. The spaces are bounded by the sides of the projections and the board. The water and mud is collected in the spaces and then flow downwards. |
