PURPOSE:To improve cutting accuracy by allowing a pipe cutting machine placed on a frame to be turned around the pipe via a roller chain. CONSTITUTION:A metal saw 16 is turned, a cutting handle (not illustrated) is turned, and the whole of an electric motor-driven cutter 10 is pushed onto a pipe W to be cut. A frame 11 is turned with a proper speed around the pipe W by means of knobs 28 on both ends of the frame 11. The frame 11 is fixed on the pipe W via a travelling roller 13, and a crawler 36, of a roller chain so that it makes one turn and returns to the original position without any lateral swing. The pipe W is cut through the flat section perpendicular to a pipe core due to the revolution of the metal saw 16 on one flat plane. |
