PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of silver bleaching power even after long-time continuous operation and leuco conversion of a cyan dye by incorporating diethylenetriamine pentaacetate iron (III) complex salt, specified metal ions, and a chelating agent except this complex salt. CONSTITUTION:A bleaching soln. and a bleach fixing soln. contain a diethylenetriamine pentaacetate iron (III) complex salt, preferably, K, Na, or NH4 salt, and ions of at least one kind of metal selected from a group Ni, Co, Zn, Ce, Ru, Y, and Sm, and a chelating agent except said complex salt. Ones usable effectively for this agent is aminocarboxylic acids, such as dihydroxyethylglycine, ethylenediaminetetraacetate, and triethylenetetraminehexaacetate. |
