PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the control for putting a table in or out of motion when the table is to be shifted or stopped, by providing a rotary member rotating about a vertical axis within a drive portion. CONSTITUTION:A drive portion 3 is interposed between a base member 1 and a table 2, wherein the drive portion 3 is supported so as to be able to slidably travel straightly in one direction with reference to the base 1. On the top face along the both sides in parallel with the X axis of the member 1, there are fixedly provided a first and second ratchets 4, 5 which are toothed in the opposite directions with each other, and on the bottom face along the both sides in parallel with the Y axis of the table 2, there are fixedly provided a third and fourth ratchets 6, 7 which are toothed in the opposite directions with each other. Within the drive portion 3, there is provided a disk, or a rotary member, rotatable about a vertical axis, which disk is provided with a first to fourth ratchet pawls 9-12 which engage the first to fourth ratchets, respectively, whereby the table 2 is adapted to shifted upon selection of the engagement. |
