PURPOSE:To operate stably a blast furnace by inputting pressure values at upper and lower parts of the furnace into a computer with pressure detecting terminals placed at upper and lower parts of the furnace and by giving an alarm when the changing directions of upper and lower pressures are different from each other and the product of the extents of changes exceeds a set value. CONSTITUTION:A pressure detecting terminal P1 is placed at an upper part of a blast furnace 1, and a pressure detecting terminal P2 at a lower part. The terminals P1, P2 input pressure values at upper and lower parts of the furnace 1 into a computer 6, respectively. When the changing directions of upper and lower pressures are different from each other and the product of the extents of changes exceeds a set value, the excess is displayed on a display board 7. At the same time, an alarm is given from an alarm device 8. A blower 5 increases or decreases the volume of air to be blown from a tuyere 2 in accordance with the abnormal signal. |
