PURPOSE:To reduce knocking by controlling knocking at the time of sudden acceleration even if the operational state is far from knocking. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control circuit 34 decides whether it is the time of sudden acceleration or not on the basis of the opening of a throttle valve 6 by a throttle sensor 22. If it is the time of sudden acceleration, knocking is controlled in case the operational state is far from knocking. If it is decided not in the sudden acceleration, a knocking sensor 13 decides whether knocking is generated or not, and if knocking is generated, the knocking is controlled. This construction permits to reduce knocking. |
