<p>PURPOSE:To designate continuously and in a wide range the speed of a slow motion reproduction and to perform the speed control, by changing the combination between the still and step actions of a pickup means based on a designated speed and therefore controlling the reproduction time per screen. CONSTITUTION:A remote control transmitter 10 has 10 keys or more number of digit keys, and the input data is applied to a remote control receiver 11 provided to the main body of a picture reproducer by the infrared rays. A system control circuit 9 decodes the signal received by the receiver 11 and discriminates a pushed digit key, i.e., the input numeric value. Then the circuit 9 produces the signal which controls the combination between the still and step actions of a pickup unit 3 and applies the control signal to a jump pulse generating circuit 13. A tracking control circuit 14 controls the unit 3 so that a beam spot 7 gives a tracking action assuredly to a spiral track on a video disk 2 in accordance with the signal given from the unit 3.</p> |
