PURPOSE:To determine ignition timing at the optimum value by providing a delay circuit to delay the output of a signal coil and resetting the delay circuit in every period of ignition. CONSTITUTION:The output of a signal coil 2 is rectified by a diode 11, and supplied to a gate of a thyristor 9 via a delay circuit 14 consisting of a resistance 12 and a condenser 13. When the thyristor 9 is connected, a condenser 4 is discharged to spark an ignition plug 6. When a transistor 15 is connected by a negative half-wave among outputs of a generating coil 1, the condenser 13 is short- circuited to reset the delay circuit. This construction permits to keep the ignition timing at the optimum value even if the number of revolutions is changed. |
