BRACE FOR REINFORCING TELEPHONE POLE AND ITS ATTACHING METHOD

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of installation work without excavating road by installing an intermediate brace for reinforcement between a main pole and a brace when stringing another cable on a telephone pole. CONSTITUTION:A main pole 10 for stringing a first cable 1 is provided, and a first brace 11 for reinforcing against a load due to a power line is diagonally installed between the main pole 10 and the ground GND for a telephone pole. When stringing a second cable 2 to another place of the main pole 10, a second reinforcing brace 13 to be attached to the telephone pole for supporting a horizontal load by the second cable 2 is composed of a strut main body 3 having a length placeable between the main pole 10 and the first strut 11, and fastening members 4 with bands to be connected respectively to the outer peripheries of the main pole 10 and the first strut 11.
