<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ink-jet recording ink capable of forming a clear image on paper by using polyammonium acrylate and a specific surfactant as additives in an ink-jet recording ink in the form of an aq. soln. of a colorant. CONSTITUTION:An ink-jet recording ink in the form of an aq. soln. of a colorant is blended with additives comprising polyammonium acrylate and a surfactant of the formula (wherein R is 6-14C alkyl; n is 3 to 12; and M is an alkali metal ion, a quaternary ammonium, a quaternary phosphonium, or an alkanolamine). The content of the polyammonium acrylate is suitably at least 0.01wt.%. The amt. of the surfactant of the formula to be added is pref. at least 0.2wt.%. Where at least two inks differing in color are used, at least one of them must contain sodium slginate and the surfactant of the formula.</p> |
