<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the stripe or gap between lines caused by the irregularity of paper feed by changing a density distribution ratio at the time of the recording of the (n-1)-th line and that at the time of the recording of the n-th line on the basis of the gradation data of an overlap recording paper and increasing the synthetic gradation data after distribution as compared with the original one at a medium density part. CONSTITUTION:An LUT selecting circuit changes over respective LUTs in order to change the distribution of a printing area with respect to the (n-1)-th line and the n-th line at the time of the printing of the overlap recording line DUPL of respective lines. When the gradation data of the overlap recording line DUPL is large, the density distribution ratio of DUPL of the (n-1)-th line is increased and that of DUPL of the n-th line is lowered. When the gradation data of DUPL is small, the density distribution ratio of DUPL of the (n-1)-th line is lowered and that of DUPL of the n-th line is increased. Gradation data is set to a non-linear shape so that the gradation data after synthesis becomes high in a low to medium density region as compared with the original gradation data.</p> |
