PURPOSE:To facilitate wick height adjustment by a method wherein an eccentric cam shaft is threadably fixed to a lever fixed to a wick vertical shaft, while a shaft hole is made at a part of the wick vertical lever which is engaged and fixed at a specified height after the wick ascending operation. CONSTITUTION:In case that an exposed height of an ascended wick 4 is not reached to a height of reference value, an eccentric shaft 9a of an eccentric cam shaft 9 is positioned to face against an adjusting hole 12 arranged in a base plate 11. Therefore, under this condition, a screw 9 is loosened and an eccentric shaft 9a of an eccentric cam shaft 9 is rotated. Thereby, the eccentric cam shaft 9 is moved in an upward or downward direction as shown at 9'. As a result, a lever 8 having the eccentric cam shaft 9 fixed thereto is also ascended as shown at 8'. Therefore, the rotating shaft 7 fixed to the lever 8 is rotated as shown by an arrow, resulting in that an exposed height of the wick becomes higher by a value corresponding to the rotation. Thus, a reference exposed height of the wick 4 is adjusted. |
