This clamp is of the type including a clamp body 2 to which is secured an end jaw 4, which is movable, and with which are associated at least sprung means 7 for return to the clamped position, the two jaws 3, 4 pointing downwards, whereas the back of the clamp has a rib providing its guidance in the grooves of the compression pulleys and/or rollers of the installation. There are provided, between the stationary jaw 3 and the movable jaw 4, as many double-faced intermediate jaws 21, less one, as the installation includes carrying-hauling ropes 23, each of these intermediate jaws 21 being suspended from the body 2 of the clamp so that it can be removed transversely, that is to say perpendicularly to the direction of the ropes 23, and being constantly returned, by associated sprung means 24, against a fixed stop piece, to the open position or position for unclamping the corresponding rope 23, in which position each rope 23 can pass freely between the two jaws 3, 21, 4 which surround it. <IMAGE>
