PURPOSE:To shorten the time of the payment processing of deposited money by connecting a pay station circuit and processing other inputs of a customer in parallel when a card and a secret number are both proper in making the communication with a center through the public circuit and paying money. CONSTITUTION:The key-in signal of a password number, etc., from the input/ output part of a cash dispenser 1 is stored in a main control part 6, and an NCU adapter 24-1 operates a network controller 24-2 by the command from the control part to connent the payment machine 1 to the center 9 through telephone switching network 8-1. Then, the main control part 6 sends customer information out of a circuit control part 25-1 through a modem 25-2. A center transmission/reception part 10 judges whether the payment is allowed or not by the main control part through a modem 25-3, and sends out information on that to the main control part 6 of the payment machine 1 through a circuit control part 25-4, modem 25-3, telephone switching network 8-1, modem 25-2, and circuit control part 25-1 to pay the money. |
