PURPOSE:To make a combustion apparatus compact with its capacity increased, by forming a damper section in a communication passage for changing the opening to follow the amount of combustion that is controlled by a fuel control valve. CONSTITUTION:Part of supplied air is induced into a primary air port 16a by the ejector effect of the fuel spouted from a fuel nozzle 18, is mixed uniformly in a mixing pipe section 16c, and is spouted as a mixture into a combustion chamber 19 where it collides violently with a forced secondary air to complete high intensity combustion with the reaction rate increased substantially. In this case, the control of the total amount of the air supplied to a burner section 16 is effected by a fuel control valve 28, to follow the amount of the combustion a damper section 25 in a communication passage 24 is driven so that its opening may be adjusted thereby allowing a discharge side 22b and a suction side 22a to act as a recirculation circuit to maintain a certain air-fuel ratio at all times. Thus, the apparatus can be made compact, the flame can be stabilized and the combustion can be improved. |
