The drill chuck, especially for a surgical drill (10), is designed as a quick-change chuck (30) and is preferably made as a unit of a material permeable to X-rays. Here, it is fastened to an angle attachment (12) of the drill (10) and consists of a chuck (31) carrying a drill bit (50), a grip sleeve (33) which surrounds the chuck (31) and can be displaced in the direction of the drilling axis (A), and at least one locking pin (34) which is arranged in the chuck (31) in such a way as to be displaceable to a limited extent transversely to the drilling axis (A) and which secures or releases the drill bit (50), carried in the chuck (31), by the longitudinal displacement of the grip sleeve (33). This quick-change chuck permits very quick and simple changing of a drill bit without the monitoring of the drilling progress on the video screen being impaired, which monitoring is made possible by X-rays. …<IMAGE>… |
