A machine for manufacturing shoe soles from a thermoplastic material has, in the conventional manner, an injection unit which can inject the material into a mould cavity formed by an upper mould and a lower mould. The upper mould can be displaced and pivoted so that, after pivoting, the sole adhering to it is easily accessible for a gripper arrangement and can be removed by the same and placed, for example on a conveyor belt, by means of a transfer device.
