Roof flap with drawn-down side edges over a roof frame opening of the roof surface of a vehicle, having in each case two struts for each side which are connected to the roof frame on one hand and connected to one another in an articulated fashion on the other, one of which struts is constituted by a longitudinally adjustable adjustment cylinder and the other by a clip of constant length, each clip being rotatably coupled to a side guide of the roof flap in the end region, remote from the roof frame, by means of a frictional locking mechanism.
