A circuit arrangement is described with the aid of which the stereo sound impression of sound signals is improved which are radiated by audio or television devices in two separate channels. The circuit arrangement contains a first transmission path for the signals of one channel and a second transmission path for the signals of the other channel. A third transmission path is provided which receives the sum of the signals transmitted in the two channels and conducts them through a delay section (12). A first summing element (R1, R5, 8) adds the output signal of the delay section (12) to the signal transmitted in the first transmission path and outputs the sum generated as output signal of one channel. A phase rotating element (14) rotates the phase of the output signal of the delay section (12) by 180 DEG . In a second summing element (R2, R6, 9), the output signal of the phase rotating element (14) and the signal transmitted in the signal transmission path are added together. The second summing element outputs the sum generated as output signal of the other channel. <IMAGE>
