MANUFACTURE OF HEAT TRANSMITTING TUBE WITH HELICAL FIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve productivity without wasting materials by providing notches to a part of a blank material at proper intervals by a pair of rolling rolls to obtain a notched strip and taper-rolling the strip continuously by another pair of rolling rolls to enlarge the notches and winding it around a tube. CONSTITUTION:Linear notches are provided, at proper intervals, to a part or a zone of a strip 20 used as a blank material of fin by a pair of rolling rolls 1, 2. The strip 20 is guided by guide rolls 3-7 and is introduced to a pair of rolling rolls 8, 9 of tube. The notched strip 20 is taper-rolled by the rolls 8, 9 and is wound around a tube while being continuously curled thereby obtaining a prescribed heat transmitting tube with helical fins.
