FLAT BATTERY

PURPOSE:To form together a very thin flat battery and printed circuit board by mutually arranging a positive electrode and a negative electrode on the same side or both sides of a printed circuit board and taking out positive and negative terminals and covering the upper and lower surfaces with insulating films and sealing their circumferences. CONSTITUTION:A flat positive electrode 3 and negative electrode 4 are mutually arranged on the same side or both sides of a printed circuit board 12. Positive and negative terminals 7 and 8 are taken out from the PC board 12 and the upper and lower sides are covered with insulating films 10 and their circumferences are sealed. For example, the positive electrode 3 is prepared in such a way that acetylene black and fluorine resin binder are mixed to carbon fluoride and the mixture is filled in a nickel net and they are pressed and molded. The negative electrode 4 is prepared by punching lithium sheet and fixing a terminal plate 7 which also serves as current collector to its end. The positive electrode 3 and negative electrode 4 and a solid electrolyte layer 9 are arranged on the printed circuit board 12 prepared by installing holes 11 at specified spaces and they are covered with an insulating film 10, then its circumference is sealed by hot melting.
