PURPOSE:To easily automate operations from feeding of a material up to ejection after processing by relatively moving upward and downward supporting pins for supporting the material during processing and supporting bearings for supporting the material during feeding in association with the opening and closing of bearing covers. CONSTITUTION:The supporting bearing 9 is positioned upper than the supporting pin 7 in the stage when the material to be processed is fed into a processing position. The bearing cover 11 is held open in this stage and the material supported on the bearing 9 is moved to the processing position by a conveyor chain 1. The bearing 9 is relatively moved upward or downward in the processing position in such a manner as to be positioned lower than the pin 7. The bearing cover 11 is closed at the same instant to provide a cover on the bearing 9. The material is thereby stably supported to the top end of the pin 7 and is thus processed. The bearing 9 is kept protected against the processing heat, spatters, etc. by the cover 11 even if thermal cutting, etc. by the laser beam, etc. are executed in the stage of processing. |
