A cooker hob comprises a hob plate (1) which is provided with at least one opening (5) into which an electrical hotplate (2) is inserted. The hotplate rests on the rim (7) of the opening, preferably by way of a carrier ring (16), and is connected at its underside through releasable fastening means with a support element.
