PURPOSE:To attain the efficient utilization of a communication slot by detecting an idle slot by a transmission/reception slot detecting section and assigning the idle slot to a communication station having transmission request. CONSTITUTION:A start command end command detecting section 161 supervises whether a communication slot is in use or release, and when the slot is released, a busy flag of a slot ready busy memory 160 of an address corresponding to the slot is reset. When a transmission request signal 171 is fed from a transmission section and the slot of the corresponding address in the slot ready busy memory 160 is an idle slot at that time, the said transmission slot is acquired and transmitted. When a start command is detected by the start command end command detecting section 161 in the reception operation, the reception slot is acquired. |
