<p>The meat storage container consists of a moulded plastics, rectangular sided box and a suitably shaped plug (10). The plug, tapered towards the base, has openings (11) permitting filling with a liquid and a cross-piece (17) forming a handle. The plane base of the plug is of a material facilitating heat transfer. The box and plug have matching recesses and projections (27) for fitting together. A variant has the plug sealed except for a screwed filling tube recessed in one corner. In the latter case, the handle is set within a depression in the upper surface.</p> |
