ANTENNA IN COMMON USE FOR MULTI-FREQUENCY BAND

PURPOSE:To widen a beam width by using a main lobe of a primary radiator at a low frequency band so as to stop a beam width and irradiating a main reflection mirror including the 1st side lobe of the primary radiator at a high frequency band so as to be decrease its effective aperture diameter. CONSTITUTION:A multi-frequency band common use antenna has the main reflection mirror 1 and the primary radiator 2 irradiating the main reflection mirror 1 directly or via a sub-reflection mirror so that the phase center is placed at a position corresponding to a focus of the main reflection mirror 1. The primary radiator 2 controls the side lobe at the high frequency band by arranging an electromagnetic lens 4 at the aperture of a conical horn 3 and arranging the phase of a radio wave at the aperture of the horn.
