ON-VEHICLE PYRAMID ANTENNA

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an on-vehicle pyramid antenna without losing the transmission/reception performance by constituting a titled antenna consisting of four main metallic rods installed standingly in the form of an unbrella stood with its upper side down and a metallic plate body formed widened toward the downward end and titled in the form of quadrangular pyramid. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 20 consists of the quadrangular pyramid-shaped metallic plate body 22 assembled to a connector 21, the four main metallic rods 23, and four triangle metallic plates 25 assembled via light auxiliary metallic rods 24. An annular guard 21a is arranged in parallel with a roof of the connector 21 and supported at the nearly center part via a lengthwise attachment at a base part 21b. An outer circumference part of an insulation ring 21c projected from the hollow part of the guard 21a upward is fitted to a through-hole 22a at the top of the metallic plate body 22 and the metallic plate body 22 is fixed to the upper face of the guard 21a and titled while being widened toward the downward end.
