A cooking vessel to be set in a high-frequency heating chamber and heating kernels of corn by a high-frequency to produce popcorn comprises: a vessel body (1) formed of a high-frequency transmitting material and having an opening (2); a cover (6) capable of closing up said opening; and a heating vessel (5) including a heating chamber (4) coupled with the bottom of said vessel body to communicate with said vessel body and having a sloping peripheral wall, and a high-frequency absorbing member (11), whereby said kernels of corn in said heating chamber will be heated by heat generated when said high-frequency absorbing member absorbs high-frequency and by high-frequency dielectric heating. |
