PURPOSE:To obtain a long development area without increasing a device in size and perform high-speed development with sufficient density by providing a magnet roll in a photosensitive drum to suck toner onto the drum directly by its attractive force and conveying a developer reciprocally through the rotation of the drum and roll, to perform the development. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner 9 is supplied through the rotation of the roll 11 and conveyed onto the photosensitive drum 6 by the attractive force of the magnetic roll 7. The toner 9 is layered on the drum 6 and conveyed in the area formed between the drum and an electrode plate 8. The part on the side of the drum 6 is conveyed in the rotational direction of the drum 6, i.e. in a direction at the same speed while attracted magnetically through the rotation in the direction of an arrow (a). A part spacing the drum 6, i.e. the part at the side of the plate 8 is conveyed in a direction (b), i.e. opposite to the direction A by the rotation of the roll 7 in the direction B. This toner 9 strikes a stopper 12 and moves in a direction (c) and is sent in the direction (a) again. |
