PURPOSE:To provide a small capacity capacitor by providing an engine stopping capacitor for discharging only for a half cycle period of one of an exciter coils. CONSTITUTION:An emitter of PNP transistor 16 is connected to an end of an engine stopping capacitor 9 at the non-earth side, and a collector of this transistor 16 connected to a gate of an engine stopping thyristor 7 through a resistance 8. Also, to the base of the transistor 16 is connected the collector of NPN transistor 18 through a resistance 17 and the emitter of the transistor 18 is earthed. And by the transistors 16, 18 and resistance 17, 19 is formed a discharge controlling switch circuit for conducting current only for a half cycle period conributing to ignition operation of one of exciter coils 6 and allowing the capacitor 9 to discharge through the resistance 8 and a gate cathode of the thyristor 7. Thus, the capacity of the capacitor 9 can be substantially reduced. |
