PURPOSE:To avoid the occurrence of paper rumpling and defective copying due to moisture absorption, by setting up a paper feed roll inside a cassette body from the outset, while making this roll so as to be installed as a cover body being left closed intact when setting to a cassette setting part of a copying machine body. CONSTITUTION:Sheets of copying paper 13 are housed from a casstte body 1 with a cover body 2 opened. These sheets of paper 13 are piled up on a bottom plate 4 inside the cassette body 1, while both corners at the side of a paper feed port 6 for the topmost papaer are supported by each of snappers 8 and 8' and forcibly pressed against paper feed rolls 11 and 11' inside the cassette body 1. Next, the cover body 2 is closed and, after making this cover body 2 into a state of being hermetically sealed, pushed inside a cassette setting part of a copying machine body for installation. At this time a driving gear 10 of a shaft 19 projected outside the cassette body 1 is engaged with another driving gear at the copying machine body side and simultaneously an on-off plate 12 of the cassette body 1 is made to open with a striking plate or the like at the copying machine body side whereby these paper feed rolls 11 and 11' are rotated without opening the cover body 2 and then the paper 13 is conveyed to a copying stage of work at the copying machine body side from the paper feed port 6. |
