摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a titled alloy wire which has >=90kg/mm.<2> tensile strength and having particularly a twisting value as high as 50-100 times even after plating by controlling the thickness of an Fe-Zn alloy layer at the boundary formed in the stage of galvanizing to a prescribed value or below. CONSTITUTION:An Fe-Zn alloy layer 2 is provided on an Fe-Ni alloy wire 1 consisting essentially of Fe-30-50% Ni and a galvanizing layer 3 is provided thereon. The alloy layer is formed to <=13mu thickness in this case by using, for example, a zinc bath of 445+ or -5 deg.C which is usually used frequently and controlling the immersion time to about <=20sec. The notch effect by the alloy layer is suppressed and the decrease in the twisting value owing to hot dipping with the high-strength Fe-Ni alloy wire is prevented even if the tensile strength of the galvanized Fe-Ni alloy wire obtd. after plating is as high as >=90kg/mm.<2>. The galvanized Fe-Ni alloy wire retaining the above-described high twisting value and high strength is thus obtd.
