PURPOSE:To rotate an AC generator at a high speed by providing a flat plate- shaped base fan and a cooling fan at the axial sides of a pole core, and providing a support for preventing the fan from tilting between the outer periphery of the base fan and the bent surface of the outer peripheral end of the core. CONSTITUTION:A coil 6 is held by two opposed pole cores 1, and the cores 1 are engaged integrally via knurls formed on the surface of a shaft 9. Cooling fans 2 are secured by welding to the both axial sides of the cores 1, a base fan 3 having a projection 4 is interposed between the cores 1 and the fans 2 to form a rotor 5 as a whole. In this manner, the bases of the fans 2 are prevented from tilting even at the superhigh speed rotating time. |
