PURPOSE:To prevent the problem of inversion of a chrominance signal caused by an erroneous frame index at reproduction by recording burst signal of a color television reciever to a control track, reproducing it at the reproduction, discriminating an odd number of frame and an even number of frame and providing a proper phase burst signal to a reproduced video signal. CONSTITUTION:The output of a frame even/odd discriminating circuit 704 is as shown in Fig. C. An ''L'' level corresponds to an even number frame and an ''H'' level corresponds to an odd number frame. Further, in recording the control signal C on a control track with positive or negative polarity through a control head at recording, a reproduced control pulse is as shown in Fig. D, and the even/odd of the frame and the polarity of pulse are brought into a prescribed relation at all times, then the even/odd of the frame is discriminated easily. Since a 30Hz signal is used for the control signal to be applied to the servo system of a VTR by using a signal E obtained from the bipolar D, the servo is applied stably similarly as a conventional system. Moreover, the control signal is different from the video signal, not treated in error at all and very stable. |
