PURPOSE:To improve the electromagnetic drive efficiency of an electromagnetic drive device by composing a coil in a slot formed in a core of bare conductor, securing the conductor by an insulating spacer, and flowing cooling insulating fluid between the conductors, thereby efficiently cooling the conductors. CONSTITUTION:A field core slot 1a and a slot teeth 1b are dormed on a field core 1, a bare conductor 5 is arrayed in the slot 1a to form a field coil 5. The conductors 5a are held at an interval by an insulating spacer 11 to form a cooling fluid passage 12. The uppermost conductor 5a is retained by a coil retainer 6. The core 1 is clamped by a clamper 2 and a clamping bolt 3, secured to a mounting base 4, contained in a case 7, an inlet 8 and an outlet 9 of cooling insulating fluid are formed at both ends of the case 7 to flow the fluid. In this manner, the cooling efficiency is improved to form a small-sized strong electromagnetic drive device. |
