PURPOSE:To constitute an economical system possible for a long transmission distance without limit to the number of remote stations by using an electrooptic converting circuit being an active optical element provided with each local station so as to transmit an optical signal without being weakened. CONSTITUTION:When an address signal is transmitted from a master station 1, the signal is converted into an optical signal by the electrooptic converting circuit 14 and the optical signal is converted into an electric signal by a photoelectric converting circuit 15b in a repeater 19 through an optical fiber 18a. An address signal is inputted to one input terminal of an OR circuit 17c. An address signal transmitted from a master station is outputted to an output terminal of the OR circuit 17c and fetched to a remote station 2. On the other hand, the address signal converted into an electric signal at the photoelectric converting circuit 15b is inputted also to one input terminal of an OR circuit 17b. An address signal is outputted to the output terminal of the OR circuit 17b and inputted to an electrooptic converting circuit 16a, where the signal is converted into an optical signal, which is transmitted to a next repeater 20 through the optical fiber 18c. |
