PURPOSE:To obtain a prepreg sheet whose width can be arbitrarily selected, by placing a reinforcing woven fabric and/or reinforcing nonwoven fabric on the upper surface of plurality of fiber-reinforced prepreg sheets wherein the fibers are densely arranged in parallel, and placing a sheet of cut releasing paper thereon. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing fibers are arranged in one direction and are impregnated with a solution that has been prepared by dissolving a matrix resin in a solvent or directly with a resin free from a solvent that has been melted by heating or that has been formed into a film on a carrier (e.g. a releasing paper, etc.) so that a fiber reinforced prepreg wherein the fibers are arranged in one direction. Such prepregs are arranged in parallel without a gap therebetween, a reinforcing woven fabric and/or reinforcing nonwoven fabric and then a cut releasing paper are placed thereon and they are pressed. Thus, a reinforced prepreg whose width can be arbitrarily selected can be obtained. |
