PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent brake lock without reducing coefficient of friction, by forming a cashew nut resin layer on a friction surface. CONSTITUTION:An uncured phenol resin layer having a thickness of 15mu is coated on a friction surface of a semimetallic friction pad manufactured by an ordinary method. Then, it is heated at 150 deg.C for one hour for curing. Thus, it is possible to prevent brake lock without reducing coefficient of friction. |
