PURPOSE:To keep a fuel injection valve well within a proper temperature range where cold corrosion and hot deterioration may not happen as well as to improve its durability, by installing two cooling systems feeding high and low temperature cooling oils, while selctively using each cooling system according to the load state of an engine. CONSTITUTION:In time of low load driving at low temperature in a fuel injection valve 1, both first and second selector valves 11 and 12 are set to a first valve position on the basis of the output of a load detector 13, while high temperature fuel oil inside a fuel oil tank 3 is fed as cooling oil to a cooling oil gallery 25 from a cooling system X. With this constitution, the fuel injection valve 1 is made so as to be reversely warmed up, thus cold corrosion is prevented from occurring. On the other hand, in time of high load driving liable to rise in valve temperature following an output increase, each of these first and second selector valves 11 and 12 is changed over to a second valve position, making a second cooling system Y interconnect the cooling oil gallery 25 in place of the first cooling system X. And, the injection valve 1 is made so as to be cooled by low temperature cooling oil out of a cooling oil tank 5. |
