PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality molten salt fuel cell by surrounding an electrode substrate with metal oxide powder or porous board then thermally processing under oxidation environment with specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:Sintered porous member produced from nickel powder through nickel, stainless steel net is impregnated with aqueous solution of lithium compound then dried and said operations are repeated several times to produce an electrode substrate 9. Said substrate 9 is placed on a porous aluminium oxide board 4 and surrounded by aluminium oxide powder 3. Under such state, it is thermally processed in an electric furnace under oxidation environment for 3- 5hr with the temperature higher than 700 deg.C. Consequently an electrode substrate having no bend, crack, peeling, etc. can be obtained. |
