PURPOSE:To provide the safety device preventing the damage of printing press by detection of bad carrying papers in printing, by a method wherein the safety device consists of the detector for detection of bad carrying papers so arranged to be able to swing so that its one end approaches and opposes the peripheral surface of printing cylinder and of the switch operated thereby. CONSTITUTION:Both end sides of detector 11 are supported by journal so that one end of sensor 11 for detection of bad carrying paper approaches, opposes the peripheral surface on the downstream side in the rotary direction of a blanket cylinder 7 and swings. At the same time, the rollers 12 and 12 in contact with bearers 7a and 7a at both ends of the blanket cylinder 7 are provided, and a pair of left and right levers are supported by journal under the state where the roller 12 is energized to be in contact with the side of the blanket cylinder 7 on the stay 14 transversely bridged between principal body frames 13 and 13 on both sides. When the sensor 11 is swung and rotated by the bad carrying paper, it is detected and the contact is closed. The limit switch 16 sending stop signal at that time, is annexed. |
