<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a cassette holding device by turning the cover of a tape cassette in accordance with insertion of the cassette via a guide groove which is formed to a guide wall to which the cassette is inserted and with inclination to the cassette inserting direction. CONSTITUTION:A groove 11 having a sloping part 12 to the inserting direction of a tape cassette is formed to a guide groove 10 which forms a space 9 of a cassette holding part 7 into which the tape cassette is inserted. The front cover of the cassette covers the front side of the cassette. When this cassette is put into the space 9, the front cover is turned by the part 12 of the groove 11 in accordance with insertion of the tape cassette. Thus a magnetic tape is exposed to the front side of the cassette. Then the front cover is turned by a front cover return member to cover the front side of the cassette when the cassette is unloaded. In such constitution, the number of component parts is decreased to attain the miniaturization of a cassette holding device.</p> |
