A flexible container liner (1, 1', 1''), preferably for use in electrostatically dischargeable containers with at least one inner liner wall (1, 1', 1'') of a single or multi-layer (2, 2', 2'', 3') material preferably of polymers, e.g. an LDPE single foil, a co-extruded polymer foil or the like, where the liner wall has an electrically non-conductive layer (2, 2', 2''), in order to meet high requirements concerning very good barrier properties against the penetration of gases, is constructed in such a way that either at least one layer of the liner wall (2, 2', 2'', 3') has micropores (7, 7') extending over a partial region of its thickness or there are microprotuberances (7'') in at least one layer of the liner wall having reduced material thicknesses in their frontal regions (5'') parallel to the layer.
