TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having excellent offsetting property by incorporating a binder resin contg. a polymer polymerized with a polymerizable monomer in the presence of a reactive prepolymer and polyolefin wax which is block- or graft-coplymerized with an arom. vinyl monomer into the toner. CONSTITUTION:A binder resin contg. a polymer (an unreacted prepolymer may remain) obtd. by bringing a polymerizable monomer having a functional group that can react with functional groups in the presence of a prepolymer having the reactive groups such as -COOH, ethylene oxide, etc. at the main chain and 1 or side chain is manufactured. On the other hand, the modified wax formed by graft- or block-polymerizing a styrene monomer with polyolefin wax is manufactured. A toner in which the wax is incorporated at 10-20wt% in the mixture composed of the above-described resin and the wax is manufactured. The toner having a low fixing temp., a high offset generating temp., good fluidity and is hardly flocculate is thus obtd.
